Abstract: 

In this paper I propose an argument against the conciliatory view in peer disagreement. One of the most important grounds for conciliatory views is the assumption that the epistemic situation in peer disagreement between two peers is symmetri cal. Symmetry justifies the conciliatory views. If so, showing that the situation is actually asymmetric should count as a refutation to conciliatory views of disagreement. By appealing to the difference between the processes by which the beliefs of the two parties have been formed, I try to show that there is a difference between the reliabilities of the two beliefs. This means the asymmetrical situation between two peers in disagreement. Since the conciliatory and steadfast views are contradictory views, any argument against one of them should be considered as an argument for the other.

Abstract: 

Construction Site Layout Planning (CSLP) is an important problem because of its impact on time, cost, productivity, and safety of the projects. In this paper, CSLP is formulated by the Quadratic Assignment Problem (QAP). At first, two case studies including equal and un-equal area facilities are solved by the simulated annealing optimization algorithm. Then, the obtained results are compared with the other papers. The comparisons show that the proposed Simulated Annealing (SA) is as efficient as ACO, PSO, CBO, ECBO, WOA, WOA-CBO, and ACO-PA which have been proposed by other papers for the same problems. As a result, the comparisons show that SA is as capable as other meta-heuristics of solving the combinatorial optimization problems like CSLP, while the hardware properties and computational times have been compared. Besides the comparisons, the design of experiments shows the relationship between each SA parameter and the computational time of the algorithm. Also, the history of convergence of the proposed SA indicates the high speed of reaching the optimal solution and the artificial intelligence of the proposed SA.

Abstract: 

This study aimed to estimate the genetic parameters of body weight traits in Markhoz goats, using B-spline random regression models. The data used in this study included 19549 records collected during 29 years (1992-2021) in Markhoz goat Breeding Research Station, located in Sanandaj, Iran. The model used to analyze data included fixed effects (year of birth, sex, type of birth and age of dam) and random effects including direct additive genetic, maternal additive genetic, permanent environmental and maternal permanent environmental assuming homogeneous and heterogeneous residual variance during the time. Akaike (BIC) and Bayesian (BIC) information criteria were used to compare the models and bspq.4.4.4.4 was selected as the best model. The direct heritability values for birth, 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 12-month weights were estimated to be 0.14, 0.16, 0.08, 0.28 and 0.26, respectively. Genetic correlation between body weights at birth and 3-month, birth and 6-month, birth and 9-month, birth and 12-month, 3-month and 6-month, 3-month and 9-month, 3-month and 12-month, 6-months and 9-month and 9-month and 12-month were 0.22, 0.38, 0.21, 0.56, -0.26, 0.30, 0.62, 0.86 and 0.77, respectively. The highest phenotypic correlation was between the weight of 9-month and 12-month (0.82) and the lowest correlation was between birth weight and 3-month and 6-month (0.12). The results showed that the 9-month weight is a good criterion for selection in Markhoz goats.

Abstract: 

با استناد به اینکه کشور ایران یکی از کشورهای بلاخیز دنیا محسوب می شود لذا متخصصان برای به حداقل رساندن این آسیب های همواره از متد های نوینی برای پیش بینی خطرات رخ دادی آینده استفاده می کنند. یکی از این بلاهای طبیعی زمین لغزش می باشد بر اساس آمارهای سازمان های زیربط کشور ایران از جمله کشورهای دنیا محسوب می گردد که آسیب های جدی بر آن تحمیل گشته است. لذا در این مقاله سعی بر تهیه نقشه پهنه بندی زمین لغزش کشور ایران با متد SWARA گردیده شده است. در این متد بعد از جمع آوری نظرات کارشناسان مربوطه وزن هر یک از عوامل توسط متد SWARA محاسبه شد و با استفاده از محیط GIS هم پوشانی وزن دار این لایه ها صورت گرفت که نتایج به صورت نقشه تهیه گردید. نتایج نشان داد 3 درصد در محدوده ی خیلی خطرناک و 7 درصد در محدوده ی خطرناک قرار گرفته 20 درصد در محدوده ی خطر متوسط و 30 درصد در محدوده ی کم خطر و 40 درصد در محدوده ی بی خطر قرار گرفته اند.

Abstract: 

Optimal asset allocation affects portfolio performance and decreases investor risk. In this regard, the most widely used models include asset allocation with equalweighted and minimum variance. These models from the very beginning have faced much criticism. Following the financial crisis in America in 2008 equal risk contribution of asset allocation model was presented where special attention is the risk factor. In equal risk contribution (ERC), the risk contribution of each portfolio is equal. In this paper, the performance of these three strategies in terms of risk, return, Sharp ratio, diversification in terms of weight and risk, maximum drawdown, turnover, cost of transactions, risk in financial crises and cumulative returns are compared with each other. Samples included weekly data of 25 main indexes in Tehran Stock Exchange from 2006 to 2014. The results of this study show that equal risk contribution of asset allocation strategy in most cases performs moderately well and in some cases performs better than the other two strategies. Likewise, the investors and portfolio managers have more reliable performance by applying it.

Abstract: 

A situation in which a finite set of players can obtain certain grey payoffs by cooperation can be described by a cooperative grey game. In this paper, we consider some grey division rules, called the grey equal surplus sharing solutions. Further, we focus on a class of the grey equal surplus sharing solutions consisting of all convex combinations of these solutions. Finally, an application of Operations Research (OR) situations is given.
